Looks like he gave them a couple more just because he could, that settled that 30 seconds of terror quickly.

But he didn't chase them, that's the main thing

Good for him. Clearly a case of self-defense and coming to the protection of others. Too bad he didn't outright kill the evil little pukes.

PDT_Armataz_01_37 R=UP Two thumbs up, gramps!

Yep.

Wonder if they guy would still be a hero if he'd hit some innocent citizen?

Frankly, it's a rather fine line between this and Scarborough when it comes to innocent people getting in the way of those bullets.

Since no one else was hit in the shootout good on him although he may want to get a much larger calibre weapon before he does tries this again.

Despite shooting the little pricks what appears to be numerous times, they still managed to slither, crawl and run away which, when you think about it is really a shame given all the effort Mr. Williams put into giving those two assholes a permanent attitude adjustment. [B-o]

I guess this just points out that people shouldn't fuck with seniors, especially since you just never know when one of the crazy old bastards will be packing. :D

I admit I was cheering for him. Do you have to be so rational all the time?

What if the guy with the gun had started blasting back, and had a larger caliber weapon that did more damage?

Not the most operator of shooting stances, but I guess the back when you are that old doesn't work how it used to.

There's a lot of if's in that argument, I wonder how many innocent victims there would have been if the old fella hadn't unloaded on these 2.

See how that works both ways, we know how this ends, no need to make up your own ending.

Time to go write your book Gunnair, no really, it's time.

Small calibre gun in an enclosed area. And Gramps looked like he knew what he was doing and maintained his cool as he was firing. Didn't seem to me like a bystander accident had a high probability of occuring in this particular incident. No where near like the Zimmermann thing where his victim got the upper hand on him and he panic-fired during a beat-down he provoked and earned.

None - they didn't even fire back when fired upon. Who knows if their gun was loaded or even real. They just wanted a quick score and get out of there.

I suggest if you have a concealed carry permit the way the old fart did, shooting lessons should be mandatory.

Oh it's in with editor which gives me some time to muse over the simplistic cheerleading you have such a talent for.

Then again, you tend to tap out past that so maybe I need to adjust my expectations.

Plenty of opportunity for bystander injury in that enclosed area and a small calibre bullet at close range can do some amazing things. Gramps seemed to miss a lot under a few meters against two targets somewhat pinned in a somewhat defined kill zone. Not very good.
