I like how the crowd crosses onto private property where the bulldozing is going on and acts all bent out of shape when security try's to get them to leave. From my point of view 1) security did not know exactly what to do in this case. Untrained for that type of work 2) over reacted and did not use the pepper spray properly 3) actually showed restraint at the end and backed off. I assume after the bulldozers and crew had left the area. 4) the crowd definitely wanted a fight and the guy who was using the flag as a weapon trying to incite one of the dogs deserves to have all the dogs chew on him for a while.

wow protesters bring their kids to the protests bring them across the property line. Use the kids hoping people wont spray or let dogs lose. When this is done act like it is all the securities fault. Maybe the security and company and property owners should bring kids and put them along the fence so the protestors will not do anything.

Pipeline protests generally appear to be financed by NGOs, 501cs, and such from money funneled through organizations like Tides but sourced at people like Soros.

Then the protest presentation is echo chambered by invited leftist propaganda media like Amy Goodman who edits to show you stuff like "OMG that dog bit me. Look at the scratch."

The thing is you're supposed to think it's an organic event - an expression of the justified outrage of the noble native inhabitants of the wild areas.

You're wasting your time on CKA - you're mostly preaching to the converted. You really should go to sites where people disagree with you, try to make converts there.

This company may have been within its rights, but they could win the battle and lose the pr war. These days just coming on tough often goes awry. I suppose if they are strictly working on their private property they might win, but pipelines these days seem to require "social license" with lots of people buying in or they don't happen. It's the mistake Enbridge made by trying to push theirs thru.
