That's one hell of a story. Is there anyone who, seeing that headline and video, did not think MAGNETO ?!

I sure hope he is healthy, because an MRI will not be his thing...

we all generate an electro magnetic field and have iron in our make up. I often wondered if this is the basis for telekenesis. Some people with abnormally high fields are able to manipulate the polarity of objects. Don't believe in spooks or the crystal crap, but I've personally witnessed levitation several times and firmly believe there is a scientific explanation for it. Hell, theoretical quantum physicists are still trying to puzzle out a unified field theory and how gravity, electromagnetism, weak and strong forces all work together.

When you see an old man place one hand on an oak dining room table and it raises a foot off of the floor and hovers, neither viagra nor Hookah happiness is involved...nor spirits. There has to be an underlying scientific explanation, that we just haven't explained yet.

So why isn't this old man allowing it to be tested scientifically? People have been pulling stunts like this since time immemorial - if it wasn't fakery, surely it would have been scientifically demonstrated by now. Let this old man do it in front of Randi and see what happens. I'm open to the idea that mind over matter is possible, but I also think most of the stuff you're likely to see is just trickery.

That table trick should be easy to prove/disprove. Invite the old man to levitate an object in a setting of the investigators choosing. Bada bing, either it works or it doesn't.

Remember, what you see with your own eyes isn't the truth. It's been repeatedly demonstrated in courts of law in regard to witness statements, and by "magicians" who are willing to reveal how they did their stunt.

Maybe because he's been dead for almost 30 years. Trickery is quite probable when you go to see someone do it, but when they come into your home and do it, there's no chance for a set up. It used to give him migranes and leave him weak for a day or two. Maybe he should have gone to the government and been treated like a lab rat...some people don't want the attention. Showmen however do. Unlike you Andy, I openly admit there is a lot I don't know or understand.

I suggest you see the series Magics biggest secrets revealed with the masked magician, things won't seem so magical after that.

Watch from 7.00 onwards
