Oh yeah, not wanting people to dress up as "indians" and "orientals" will inevitably lead to banning of pirates, vampires, ghosts, and animals.

I should dress as a white guy this Halloween. Real simple, just a Harley Davidson jacket, a greasy beer-stained wife-beater, a fist-full of my girlfriend's hair, an "I voted!" pin, a harddrive of child porn, a pistol for shooting up the nearest elementary school, and a lifetime subscription to Stormfront.

Hey if you really want to scare the shit out of your couch surfing, SJW commie buddies, why don't you dress up as someone who actually works a 40 hour week to support his family? You could go as a roughneck from the patch. You know those fools that spend so much time away from their families, freezing their asses off to keep our lights on, a roof over their families head and food on their families table. How stupid are they? All that time spent working in a frozen wasteland when they could be living on the dole, professionally protesting at colleges that they don't even attend bitching about the guest speaker or whatever "triggers" them. Maybe a plumber. All that time spent playing in someone else's shit when they could be sipping a latte ( from the spare change they scrounged from the actual money paying customers) and freeloading on the free wifi from the local coffee shop. Who has time to work when there are revolutions to be planned, and protests to organize? Whatever costume you pick whether it be a longshoreman, millwright, mechanic, welder, truck driver, soldier, sailor, its sure as hell going to be the scariest costume of all at your pc halloween party. Its sure as hell going to offend a lot of people. Someone learning a trade, working for a living, paying taxes, not asking the government to solve all his problems for him. That should harsh their buzz real quick. I would not be surprised if you were asked to leave the party and not return.

I remember University as a place where people could be offensive. That was the place to do it - so long as you could defend your reason for it. People respected others rights to defy social norms, to express themselves without hate or malice. Some guy in Fine Arts wants to wear purple and green spiky hair and a "SNFU" shirt - well, that wasn't even edgy.

Welcome to the 'everybody gets a trophy' generation. I'd spend time on the bus triggering these people, but they are too engrossed in their earpods and organizing their backpacks to pay attention to a creeper like me.

And, what is up with those backpacks? WTF do people under 30 need with 50 pounds of sundries? Do they really have so many possessions they will miss for the 8 hours they are at work that they need to risk back injuries carrying them around all day?

I've got my keys, wallet, phone and a pair of sunglasses. Sometimes a plastic container with leftovers for lunch. What else do I need in a day?

As for the costume approval committees, well, I'd like to show up in a Nazi SS uniform and if anyone got in my face say to them "this isn't a costume, I dress like this all the time" just to piss them off/ruin their day/drive them en masse to the nearest safe space. Fuck. Them.
