The article uses sensational words like UN “instructs” but in reality these are only requests- compliance with these UN Committee decisions is voluntary. Sovereign states, including Canada ignore these kinds of things all the time, always have.

What really pisses most people off is the arrogance of the unelected and mostly immoral body called the UN treating sovereign countries like vassal states and instructing them to do their bidding.
