Static electricity destroys electronics, not disables them temporarally.

A strong and variable magnetic field though will mess with electronics pretty bad.

It's probably not a 'craft' but more likely just a component of something else that got dumped over the side.

The order to do so probably sounded like: "Get that *%$#@! thing off my ship!!!"

But it's 60 feet across! Even the Iowas' didn't look that large. (couldn't find numbers on how large they actually are)

I'd like to see the Swedish government send out an official exploration of this thing. It'd be nice to get some information from someone who isn't behaving like a bunch of crooked carnies trying to exploit some "ancient astronaut" bullshit.
