I'm old enough to remember when Ben Carson declined to be a cabinet secretary because he felt he didn't have the qualifications. Different times....

Well...there was that whole business of working his way from a background of food stamps to head the neurosurgery department at John Hopkins University.

I think the biggest decision Obama's pick as HUD secretary, before he was elected a mayor, was whether to take the free ride of a tennis scholarship at Trinity or the affirmative action ride at Stanford.
