With the methodology of the RCMP in this country, this is worrisome. My guess is the Americans know quite well about how flimsy RCMP methods are based on some of their joint operations. Some of these operaitons have received big promotion by the RCMP, while the FBI haven't stated much about the cases at all. Let's hope the border receives this message, the RCMP have wrongfully misrepresented and stained many lives.

The U.S must realize that their system of investigation, assessment and due process is far more credible and reliable than Canadas. Quite frankly these border concerns are Canada's doing, when the RCMP have a full 85% of B.C residents names in a database, you would think someone would have realized the over-reach and its potential implications...

If his rhetoric matches his action, then yes indeed, this would be worrisome. I have great faith in the U.S system, especially in terms of justice. No president can transcend these policies and laws, the beauty of the American system.

My guess is that Clinton will beat him in a general election, though he cannot be underestimated. I think we will all know after Super Tuesday, if he wins Florida and Ohio, it's over. The only hope at this point would be a convention.

I really wanted to see Rand Paul or maybe even Rubio as president. Quite honestly though, Clinton would be a reasonable president especially in regards to how I imagine her relationship would be with Canada At the moment, I am not sure there is any candidate that would be as good for Canada as Obama was.

The biggest concerns I have at the moment are NAFTA and the unratified TPP. Far too many of the candidates in the U.S are touting a protectionist system, this is not going to help businesses.

Ultimately, as someone who has had positive experiences while in the U.S, I fear Canada's "information gathering" mechanism rather than the U.S government, regardless of the stripe.
