I seen this on my phones news thingy. Don't recall the source. Basically said they are looking into the confidentiality clause and paper work. RCMP's says it hampered the investigation.

I didn't even see that much, as all I even get from the 'Post Millenial' is a rotating square thingie. But I figured if it's about some new G&M story, then there must be something on the G&M about it, even if it's paywalled. Couldn't find any mention of it.

Essentially:

The RCMP has been trying to investigate an obstruction of justice in the handling of the prosecution of SNC-Lavalin, but The Globe and Mail reports it’s being blocked by the federal government’s refusal to lift cabinet confidentiality for all witnesses in the case.

The Globe reports cabinet matters must be kept secret unless a waiver is granted, something the top bureaucrat, their Clerk of the Privy Council, isn’t willing to grant.
