Always seems to happen in Toronto, too much racism there. Seems like someone has been taking lessons from the TPS.

Lemmy Lemmy:
Quite the opposite. Given the population, the population density and the diversity, there's remarkably little racism in Toronto. I can't imagine another big city anywhere in the world where there's less racism. Can you?

Yes. Houston. Dallas. New Orleans. Seattle. Tokyo. London. Just to name a few.

Yeah, those big Texas cities are renowned for their embrace of diversity. Ever been to Tokyo? ROTFL Thought not.

I've been to all the cities I mentioned, I viewed far less discomfort with people among other races. I'm a student of behavior. In Tokyo they treat you with more respect because they know you aren't Japanese, they welcome you with politeness and friendliness in a very homogeneuous country.

I have personally experienced multiple incidents of racism in Toronto, been victimized when jumped and robbed and cursed at many years ago because I was caucasian in a multi-cultural part of Toronto.

I will put any of the above cities against Toronto on the racism scale. Try riding the TTC during rush hour and you will really see the racists come out. The guy in this story felt comfortable enough to show his racism in a bank in front of many people. Disgusting.

Why you choose violence over discussion?

Because violence is a great way sometimes to put a stop to annoyance.
