I just can't imagine how Vancouver stays as expensive as it is. I mean just about every block has a new high rise going in. I keep thinking the boom has got to end and that there's no way that all these places will be occupied. Yet, each new construction location has a sold out sign on it. Will this end up like the Japanese land market? Only time will tell. It makes my head spin watching it.

A lot of those condos in Vancouver are owned by out-of-towners as investments. Some of them are rented out, but many remain essentially vacant.

Right as I'm moving to Toronto! I rented an apartment near work so I can walk and I move in next week. Can't wait to see some of you!

3 cities I wouldn't be caught dead in! PDT_Armataz_01_32

I'll stick to my spread where I can sit on my back porch and shoot skeet or coyote (if they get to close to the house). PDT_Armataz_01_36

Plenty of coyotes here you see then walk by along the road usually. The most annoying is the crows. The chickadees and everything else is fine though. It is like one big symphony in the morning here from all the animals. :)
