Parents today are out of control. My wife is a teacher, the school can no longer take the kids on skating trips. A parent chaperone was told he could not step on the ice in street shoes. He did anyway because you know, his taxes pay their salary, and nobody is going to tell him how to act around his kids, the parents tell the school what to do, not the other way around, blah blah blah.

Slip, fall, concussion, lawsuit, no more skating trips. And that's how it goes.

I am so sick of our society catering to the 10-15% of politically correct morons who at some point in their school career felt "slightly uncomfortable", were "teased", or otherwise made to feel anything less than perfect.

Generation P is right. ^#$* My own 8 year old is a giant Generation P. We've raised him like he was born in the 1950's, but every school year he comes back to us a giant Generation P'er. Takes the entire summer to break him of it, then it immediately happens again next year.

The world isn't going to be kind to these kids made of glass...

I never suggested your wife was a liar. I said the adult should have no grounds for a law suit. He placed himself in a dangerous situation. Teachers aren't responsible for ensuring the safety of adult chaperones.
