Must be confusing for all the motorists who think they just sneezed.
I personally don't think it's right to be using terms like that when dealing with the public because it's simply patronizing people and ranks right up there with the less than appropriate terms like "honey", "sweetie" "dear" "buddy" and "bro" which are completely inappropriate when dealing with people you've never met and will likely never have an interaction with again.
So I'm inclined to agree with the Boss but, I'm pretty sure if he was saying Allah Akbar or some Buddhist blessing and was told to stop there'd be a discrimination law suit so I suppose in some ways fair is fair as stupid as it is.
