Didn't we have this discussion a couple of years ago when it was discovered metal theives had taken everything they could off the Prince Of Wales and Repulse? But, given this topic I'd like to reiterate my original position that stealing "ANYTHING" from a military memorial or gravesite is akin to what they said. Grave Robbery.

The trouble is that alot of these graves are in 3rd world countries with few laws regarding acts like the theft of metal from gravesights especially when those graves aren't even from their country.

What has to happen since these countries with the parasites won't do squat, is for that impotent body of degenerates called the UN to pass a resolution that makes it a crime to steal anything from a military grave site and then hold people caught conducting this desecration to account.

But hey, that won't happen because it might cut into someones kick backs.

Not sure what can be done about this. The locals governments are either allowing it because they're corrupt or because they just don't care about the wreckage from the former colonial powers. Given the cost to either secure the sites somehow with an electronic alarm system to alert when scavengers are in the area, or even to simply repatriate as many of the remains of the crews as possible, I can't even see the governments of the US, Britain, Australia, or the Netherlands be willing to take up the task. This looks like a lingering insult that's never going to be rectified because taking the moral high road with graft and bribery-ridden third world authorities to do something about it isn't going to work at all.

Man, that is just so racist. Ask BF, he'll tell you
that the UN doesn't do racism, man. They select Mugabe for stuff and stuff.
He is the hero of Africa.

It is sad, but nothing will happen.
An initiative to repatriate graves from the ME might gain traction,
but most of the sheeple are now having trouble finding a poppy,
never mind actually doing something productive.
And government needs more money for dem 3rd world gibs.

I'm better when I try not to think about it.
