Hockey and Amerian footbal have concussion issues they must deal with. As a guy active in soccer coaching and recruitment, it is a bit of a boon, as concerned parents of elite athletes are worried about their kids being on their third concussion by the time they're 17. But it's not something to feel good about. (And soccer isn't exactly concussion free either--lots of head-to-head collisions, and power-heading a ball going 60 mph probably isn't the best for the grey matter.)
Personally, I'd like to see the bigger ice, but I'm led to understand that's a non-starter economically.
