Yup. Protesting is illegal.

"Grandpa, tell me more about the good old days: Why did anybody ever even think of protesting?"

Except for the existence of the sticker.

Image

Not the first time an Alberta company has done a bonehead maneuver like this either.

https://www.cbc.ca/news/canada/edmonton ... -1.5482369

So a racist sticker depicting a first nations member badly is a direct result of the rail blockades we saw earlier this year. the same blockades this legislation is trying to stop. (There already is federal legislation, and Rail companies have their own police forces specifically for these circumstances).

Clearly, not a hoax.

A fucking sticker is only evidence of the fact that someone made it. That's all. You need a lot more than that to make the case that the company did it.

The company is denying they made it, which is entirely possible.

My point was the underlying racism that is shown in that sticker is also responsible for this legislation. People have the right to peacefully protest, even First Nations, and even when it affects critical infrastructure.

So let's say the FN go to the Bennett Dam on the Peace River (you know, 'critical infrastructure') and take the place over and start playing with the dam's controls intending to collapse the dam to make some point.

They have the right to put everyone downstream at risk? [huh]

Your scenario doesn't seem very 'peaceful'.

Nope, but right now the leftists are loathe to call such things anything else.

FOX last night had a clip of some assclown reporter on CNN talking about 'peaceful protesters' all while the people in the background were breaking glass and looting. :|

But around here it's the "conservatives" who are legislating away the right to protest.

You folks keep going the way you are and Alberta will be the 51st US State.

But we're not taking Quebec.

No F***ing way!
