The Corvair might have sucked in its design, but I remember having a lot of good drives in it with my dad.

It did have some major flaws though, the rear suspension absolutely sucked.

Compared to the Trabant, it's actually pretty decent. The Niva is a pretty tough vehicle actually. Comparable to older Suzuki Samauri's.

All the "Big 3" trucks at that time came with rust from the factory.

The Vega wasn't so bad.....especially when you could easily drop a Small Block into it. Even better when you could close the hood of one with a Big Block.

The absolute worst vehicle I have ever owned. I was willing to pay someone to take it off my hands, but then decided it was much better suited for target practice so me and some buddies spent the better part of an afternoon and a ton of ammo relieving frustration!

Why is the Explorer on there, outside of it being the first major SUV?

The S10 S15 Blazer and Jimmie and the Bronco II were around long before the Exploder.
Ford Aerostar was another real winner.
A lot of junk to choose from, this guy hated AMC so much he missed a lot of other bad cars of that era.

True, but from what I read, the Explorer was the one that set off the SUV craze.

Anyway, the Honda Element and the Nissan Cube deserves to be on there for pure ugliness.
