If the Europeans think it's not humane to sell the drug, then whatever alternative method is selected will be caused by the EU.
Going back to gas, or electricity is what will happen (or hanging or shooting or whatever else). What will not happen is Texas no longing having people commit capital crimes.
Does Texas execute a lot because it has a lot of capital crimes taking place, there or are there a lot of capital crimes taking place there because they execute at such a high rate? There seems to be a direct causal relationship between violence by the State and the violence of the individuals that reside there. Peaceful countries tend to have peaceful populations (obviously). Which comes first ... a State that doesn't terrorize it's people with the threat of execution or a culture that rejects that kind of violence?
If we brought back our death penalty in Canada, would our violent murder rate go up?
