I've never understood why some conservatives, particularly Bible Belt conservatives, flip out at the idea of regulating capitalism but are more than happy to use the government's power to try and control a woman's ability to decide whether she wants to give birth or not.

First off I do not want you to think that I am supporting what is going on in Texas, I don't. I think that the new law is one big steaming pile of horseshit. SCOTUS is not helping matters either by allowing this clusterfuck to continue. This should have already been nipped in the bud. That said attempting to equate the right wing in the U.S. with white nationalism is also horseshit. Blacks make up 12% of the population in Texas, yet black women having abortions represent 27% of all abortions in Texas. Hispanic women represent 39% of all abortions in Texas. If the right wing in the U.S. was all about white nationalism, they would not try to stop these abortions by minorities. Hell they would be encouraging them. They would be passing laws raising taxes to help pay for them. They would be passing laws calling for forced sterilization and euthanasia of the minorities.

If you have a problem with people forcing their own morals and beliefs on other people....fine, (I do too) call them out on it. Just call it what it really is. Racism has nothing to do with it. Nationalism has nothing to do with it. EVERYTHING being equated with racism and nazism is getting really fucking old.

I think you might have it backward there rick. Minority access to abortions is what helps them choose their life and the direction it takes. Single unwed mothers have a more difficult time raising themselves out of the poverty trap. Take into account the systemic racism already faced by such groups, and then place a heavy financial burden on them, and you keep that group in the lowest income range. Then remove any financial or social support for those families once the baby is born, and you have sealed their socioeconomic status.

That is White Nationalism. You might not think racism has any part of it, because race is not specifically involved, but the groups most affected by these decisions are totally race based.

Not allowing them to have abortions helps keep them in poverty. They aren't so stupid to think people of colour won't have children. So instead they're going make sure that as many are kept in subservient positions as possible.

Sterilization has happened as recently as the last 10 years against prisoners, who are predominantly people of colour because of a racist justice system.

As long as the GOP continues into trump land of crazy, they will bear the white nationalist title. And anyone who votes for them should bear that title as well.
