Starts on Wednesday and should be entertaining. $1: Whatever it truly is, Operation Jade Helm 15 begins on Wednesday in states across the south-west. Hundreds of people will be waiting for the troops when they roll in, watching closely.
A counter-surveillance operation called Counter Jade Helm has been set up and volunteers are aiming to locate, track and observe US soldiers as they carry out training drills. The volunteers will gather intelligence that will be relayed to a headquarters in Arizona and posted on a website.
“Why [Jade Helm] exists, we’re not quite certain,” said Eric Johnston, who will run surveillance teams in central Texas. Counter Jade Helm also plans missions in California, Utah, Nevada, Arizona, New Mexico, Louisiana, Mississippi and Florida.
“They’re not inviting any media to embed with the units,” said Johnston, “and it’s important for Americans to step up and look around and say, ‘OK, what are you doing?’ ‘Well, it’s secret.’ Not if it’s in public – it’s no longer secret.”
The two-month exercise has been described by the US military as a routine, though unusually large, training event for a variety of units that will take place on both private and public land in order “to practice core special warfare tasks, which help protect the nation against foreign enemies”.
The pushback has been especially strong in Texas, where some of the army’s biggest bases are located. The Lone Star State has been designated as “hostile” territory in the exercise. If nothing else, this is a fair assessment of the state’s prevailing attitude towards virtually anything linked with the Obama administration, or anything perceived as an encroachment on Texan independence. http://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2015 ... nment-plot

But that doesn't tell you anything about what Jones and his Infowars crowd are saying about Jade Helm.
Here ya go.

I don't want to know anything about what Alex Jones thinks, any more than I want to see Ezra Levants' lips flapping.

I don't much care for the chemtrails crowd but they are correct in questioning this exercise because it involves training local authorities to coordinate with Federal agencies and the military to put down a nation-wide insurrection. To me the simple question to ask is if the government plans on putting down a nation-wide insurrection then what are they planning to do which they estimate will provoke such a reaction in the first place? This exercise is going to cost upwards of $1bn dollars before it's done, it will involve transferring a considerable amount of military tech to local authorities, and it will blur the lines between civilian and military authority. In the US we've put laws in place since the Civil War to prevent exactly what this exercise is designed to promote. So why is it being done? Edit: The Boston Globe has a pretty fair article on this topic. https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/nation ... tory.html#

DrCaleb DrCaleb: I don't want to know anything about what Alex Jones thinks, You don't have to believe the guy to find him at times entertaining. I don't even like him. He bullied my girl, Michelle Malkin, with a bullhorn. He can never be forgiven. However, his Jade Helm conspiracy is convoluted, but good for some smiles. Basically in Jonesworld Jade Helm is about getting the public used to a military and monitoring presence in the community with the eventual purpose of categorizing, populations for a Eugenics operation leaving those of the weeded down populace who have purpose to the new world to be controlled using all this gathered intel from operations like Jade Helm in a psych op. The Bilderbergers are responsible, of course. Jones even finds a why to work in 'Watson'; that AI computer that won Jeopardy, playing the champions. Infowars works in a lot of the new tech. It's fun. That's Jones though. Others just don't like the secrecy of Jade Helm, and want the operation monitored. The Texas governor is just asking for updates from the National Guard.

BartSimpson BartSimpson: Edit: The Boston Globe has a pretty fair article on this topic. https://www.bostonglobe.com/news/nation ... tory.html#That's a heck of a better article. But 1200 troops? That's not much of an invasion force. $1: actor Chuck Norris also said he was worried about the operation, noting, “We must never check our brains or blindly trust, especially the government.” An excellent point!

Just like when Ezra stood up against the HRC, Alex had his day. But that doesn't mean I'll like everything or anything they have to say. I liked Alex's 'Waking Life' rant, but somehow since, he lost the plot.

He's cutting back on military spending everywhere else. Then there's this. Why? It's worth monitoring. And if the MSM can't or won't do it, then yeah, others should.

Alex Jones and Ezra have nothing to do with each other. Not listening to Alex is just cheating yourself out of some smiles and chuckles. That's up to you. I won't judge you. Plugging your ears when Ezra talks though, is depriving yourself of factual information you won't hear else where. That's not smart. It's the opposite of smart. Jones likes to get into the tech though. I would think you'd find that interesting. Just edit out the Bilderberg and other crap.

And just like Ezra, I don't have the time nor the patience to suffer through all that insanity for the nugget or two of gold he might show annually. There are better sources for my tech needs that don't require me to curb my laughter or suspend my disbelief for long periods.
