They should have just raided the Legacy Showroom Clover Inn Motor Hotel 5708-176th Street Surrey, B.C. where they launder their drug money.

Same B.S. Hell's Angels do with their strip club T-Barz Exotic Show Room in Surrey.

WTF????????????

$1:
“Police presence was clear and visible and highly obtrusive. The service of the documents was generally carried out late at night, with multiple police cruisers present, lights on and with all the paraphernalia of a police raid,” Phelan said, adding that the actions were “obtrusive, invasive and unjustified.”

And how would Judge Phelan like Revenue Canada to deal with these people? 8O

They weren't dealing with the Girl Guides here. They were dealing with one of the most violent and organized street gangs in Canada and I'm pretty sure that the safety and security of Police and CRA personnel wasn't taken into account when His Honour made this ludicrous ruling.

$1:
Phelan also said that the CRA treated the UN members differently than other citizens and outside the mandate of the agency.

They are different. They participate in an illegal and violent business outside of mainstream society and any attempts by Police or the CRA to treat their activities or lifestyle as legitimate would have to be considered absurd.

With Judges like Phalen making decisions like this it's no wonder that the majority of Canadians have lost all faith in the judicial system.

If Revenue Canada thinks they have a good case here, let them appeal. I agreed with the operation in the first place - get the gangsters where it hurts. But it's gotta be done right.

We have one judge here that's twice been reversed on appeal for giving the HA very lenient sentences. Makes you wonder. Lots of money in drugs, is the corruption really only in Mexico? (That includes cops, just to get Brock yowling at me.) I doubt it.

Revenue Canada obviously needs to investigate one Michael Phelan next to see if he has financial ties to the UN gang.
