That's too bad that she did not win the show but she is indeed a winner. I remember seeing her first performance when the cameras showed people in the audience rolling their eyes and snickering. I immediately thought "you show them...I bet you're going to blow them all away". And boy did she ever!

It's sad that society in general judges a person's worth by their physical appearance, what they wear, do for a living, and what material things they possess. Things that really do not matter. It's a person's inner beauty and what they have to contribute to society that really matters. Hope some people learned a lesson from this and think twice before categorizing someone without seeing them for who they are.

I couldn't agree more. When she first walked on the stage when this competion began the croud in the audience was quite cruel until they heard her sing. People need to be reminded beauty comes from within, not external flash and glamour.

Scotland's proud of Susan Boyle and it's already said that the Queen's invited her to perform anyway at the RVS.

She's from a town 10 mins or so down the road from me.

She's shown her talent. Coming in second isn't going to stop her from reaching her goal. She won the second she started singing on the first show.

I had a buddy send me a link and when I watched the youtube video.. I sat here and was pissed at how I saw she had been treated and because of her looks she was denied her chance of doing and being great.. Theres no turning back for her now,, Has anyone heard that blues song she did for the fund rasing CD a few years ago?? She has talent no doubt all she needed was a break.. well better late than never.. good on her

People will forget the dance group three months from now, however the memory of Susan Boyle will live on for years. She taught us all that you're never too old to follow your dream, and heart will triumph over prejudice. God bless Susan Boyle.
