Delwin Delwin:
The fact that these people were involved in drugs is no reason for the RCMP to use any less resources or investigate any less thoroughly. After all, every murder committed is an opportunity to take a murderer off of the street. If the rate of conviction is any lower because the victim was a criminal, then the police are passing on the oppotunity to rid the streets of 2 criminals, which I don't think is acceptable.
Really? A guy or guys walk into an apartment, kills a guy, then walks out. And the police aren't doing enough? Perhaps the anonymous caller who reported the death might have also revealed the killer while he had them on the phone?
There is a turf war in the Somali community's drug dealers. Albertans aren't stupid. No one in the Somali community is talking, and the rest of the population is faulted for not being psychic?
These people will be punished, if caught. Now, lets see if people in the Somali community who have the information needed to give the police a target for their investigation are really concerned with justice.
