Yes, that sounds like a good waste of $1Million. We already know the government is spending our money, not only on projects but their expense accounts, congressional junkets and all sorts of goodies that they enjoy.

We've had those signs in Canada for as long as I can remember they always say "Putting your tax dollars to work" and goes on to say what the project is how much it cost and when it should be completed

However, is it really wasting money? I mean people are paid to make those signs, transport them and install them, so it is creating work for someone.

I'm sure they could have actually made real, long lasting road signs. You know..."Stop", "Yield", etc. Making road signs to advertise money being spent just sounds like a waste.

Plus, after these one million dollar road signs are made, who the heck are going to buy more of them?
