Pro sports teams have have curfews the night before games to ensure their employees (that get paid a lot of money) are able to perform at the highest level to ensure the success of their teams.
Radulov probably did this all the time in the KHL, its a little harder to play hung over in the NHL and it showed by his performance.

Actually it was this same attitude that landed him in the KHL in the first place and had Nashville been smart they would have left the cancer there, where it belongs.
