Fun game to watch but I was not expecting to see a blow-out like that.

The only NFL game I would even consider watching, which I did today, only because the Shithawks were playing. Quite the game for Seattle, not so much so for the Broncos.........right from the git go.

Luckily for me I had to go out this afternoon so I PVR'd the Jets/Habs game to watch later, like when the Superbowl was on and NOBODY would put on anything decent to watch because they foolishly assume everyone will be watching that pathetic imitation of the Grey Cup.

Hearing them called the Wold Champions over and over was annoying. They`re American teams playing in the National Football League...... and 96.5% of the players are American born citizens, with most foreign born being Canadian or being kids of Americans residing overseas(military mostly).

What always annoys me about the Super Bowl is that the first person to get the trophy is the owner. Not the coach, not the quarterback or captain or the coach. No, the one guy who had nothing to do with the game save for signing the checks. I don't get it.

Well he does OWN the team, in most cases he also owns the stadium or leases it. He is the one who hired the GM and head coach (usually) and they are the ones who put the team together with , depending on the owner, with some or a lot of input via the guy who just writes the check.

You can also consider it one of the most exclusive clubs in the world 31 people own a NFL team. The Green Bay Packers are owned by the city.

Also: At my church one of the men was running a pool to benefit the local high school wrestling team and I asked for the worst possible position on his grid - which had Seattle winning 28-7...I won by default.

I've donated the $75 prize back to the wrestling team as my intent was not to win the pool but to just make a donation.
