I remember when they raised it. Pretty cool that they finally finished it off and displayed.

It was an advanced weapon for its time and amazing that someone was able to convince a hard-pressed Confederacy to apply the sort of resources that it would have taken to build her.

I hope this goes on display at a museum (sounds like a great piece for the Smithsonian). I would love to see this in person. From a military history perspective this is as big a find as finding the original Trojan horse.

It should be noted that the Hunley would still be buried in mud and sand if it were not for author Clive Cussler who was the principle source of funding for the recovery of this relic of the Confederate Navy.
