Yemen is 65% Sunni, and 35% Shia. Be funny if Iran pulled the Putin 'protecting Shia abroad' card.
I'm 90% certain Iran has no capability to do such a ting.
I'm thinking they could do some things such as sending arms and trainers to their friends in Yemen. Might see some new group of terrorists slip into Arabia and start targeting military and government complexes. What I don't see is Iran sending troupes or doing air strikes in retaliation. Then again I could be very wrong and Iran could say F*** IT and go total nuts on the region.
Possibly sending Arms, but even that would be quite the feat. Trainers would be a more likely possibility, but not sure how effective they could be. I kinda suspect that the Saudi troops will be able to overwhelm the Huthis and Al Queda though. That's just a whole lot of troops and Yemen isn't a large country.
