"We are aware that sexism is a problem in Alberta and certainly that sexism is a problem in Alberta politics, and when we lose qualified, intelligent, hard-working candidates like Sandra, then it's a wake-up call for everyone," she said.

No one knows that more than the Premier. Her comments were also telling, that there is no room for centrist Progressives in the Progressive Conservative party of Alberta.

Jason Kenny is doing exactly what I predicted he'd do; alienating the current membership.

That was shocking to me and I foresee centrists hitching their wagons to either the Liberals or Alberta Party in the not too distant future.

I liked Dr. Raj Sherman as Conservative Minister turned Liberal Leader, but he was kind of a one trick pony. Same with the current leader Dr. David Swann, for the same reason. Both seemed like nice guys, but a little fixated on the subject of Health Care when we need far more than that.

I don't know about the Alberta Party yet. I know there was a big purge with Wildrose formed, but I don't know if they purged the contingent of the divisive Western Separatists or not.

Sandra Jansen.......... Redford's travel companion, the only hard work she did was carrying Alison's luggage from the Government Jets.

Sandra Jansen might not have been the best choice but she was better than Jason Kenney as she was fighting for Alberta when it counted and where was he? If Jason Kenney really cared about Alberta he would have stepped up when Alison Redford resigned which could have prevented the NDP from winning, sorry to little to late screw him.
