Great to finally get that nod but, in my mind, Rush hasn't made anything worth listening to since 1980.

Rush is the greatest band of all time.
The Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame is a lame excuse for a hall of fame. I've never been more disappointed in paying an entrance fee than for the dollars I dropped there.
Inductees include such "Rock 'n' Rollers" as Ricky Nelson, Smokey Robinson, The Platters, Johnny Cash, Al Green, James Taylor, etc. etc. I would argue there are more non-rock 'n' rollers than rock 'n' rollers in the Rock 'n' Roll Hall of Fame.
So fuck the R & R HoF. Rush is too good to for membership. There's nothing to be proud of for being lumped in with the likes of Brenda Lee, Run DMC and Madonna.

Best Rush song?
Well, I never was crazy about Geddy's voice, so I'm going with La Villa Strangiato.

Nah, though there was a time when I could play the whole Moving Pictures record note-for-note. Best Song? Too many to choose from, almost, but I'm going with "The Spirit of Radio".

The stuff after that sucks. No two Rush albums are more alike, style-wise than Moving Pictures and Signals. I can't see how someone who liked Moving Pictures wouldn't also like the followup to that album. I generally prefer the older stuff too, but Hold Your Fire and Counterparts are as good as any pre-Moving Pictures records. But nothing they've ever done "sucks". Rush's worst efforts are better than just about any other bands' best.
