ok, we get it, you're trying to take over the country, could you at least do it in a less annoying way?

When I saw the article a few days ago that a new name was to be unveiled I had hoped it was actually going to get a good name.

Rogers Arena... ick... GM Place just sounds better. I'll miss the media referring to it as "The Garage".

Now it'll just be known as "Rogers". How boring.

Takes a while to switch gears.

I remember when they renamed Rexall Place too. Took about a year before you could say it without tripping over the name and going, "Is that really right? Sounds wrong. Sounds stupid. What were they thinking".
