Surprise, surpise. Sunnyways has got money for everyone and everything but, Veterans. Unfortunately alot of Veterans fell for his schtick despite the fact that the track record for this party when dealing with Veterans was abysmal.

Call me jaded but, I honestly don't know how Veterans could trust a Party that took away their lifetime pensions, took half the serving members pension funds and turned Veterans Affairs into a political patronage trough that almost always ensure the loser will be the Veterans and not the Gov't.

They are also moving pension payments to an other department. That should be a nightmare. Wonder how many people are going to end up forgotten. The notice says that they will still be there for us...

I don't know if anyone fell for his schtick so much as they were pissed at the Conservatives and knew exactly what Harper would do for them (like close offices and claim in court that the government had no formal obligation to vets), so many probably said, "What the hell, it can't get that much worse under JT."

Time will tell if they were wrong or right.
