Coyotes that display no fear of humans have likely had an interaction with at least one who supplied them with food, therefore they see other humans as a source of food. Sadly, just like the Stanley Park coyotes, these ones that become more aggressive will likely be trapped and put down.

After 42,000 people get bitten by coyotes, City Council may have a hearing about if they should be humanely relocated.

I only shot half a dozen when I lost a dozen chickens and a couple piglets to them. I tried to do my part...

All it will take is a couple of doggies or a kid to get bitten bad and action will be taken. People need to be aware and know how to scare them away to avoid this though.

They are varmints to farmers for sure. My grandfather raised chickens and they were always locked up in their coops for the night because of coyotes. Otherwise, they had a nice sized yard to run around in during the day.
