Jeez, I coulda been in the national news!
Came within a red you-know-what of doing the same with my WISP a couple years ago, but luckily for this town I more or less gave it away at the last minute.
It just isn't possible to service, collect from and keep up with rocketing customer bandwidth demands unless you're a HUGE company. In the end, you're tied to an incredibly expensive telco connection that even they have difficulty supplying.
As far as satellite and cell based connections, go ahead. You pay those prices for limited data and dial-up era upload speeds. You'll really enjoy online gaming with those 1000mz ping times too!
