I wait with bated breath for the "Canucks Hire Tortorella" headline.

He might still be coaching if he hadn't sat Brad Richards in the 2 most important games of the year for the Rangers. I guess people are beginning to realise his Stanley Cup win in Tampa Bay was the exception rather than the rule.

If Torts wants to keep coaching he needs some anger management sessions and to realize that calling out players and treating them like a bunch of unruly kids is old-style. These guys deserve the respect due anyone and Torts failed miserably to realize that. Won't miss his media rants at all.

He's a screamer and that only works for so long. The players tuned him out shortly after the season started. He went ballistic when his dry erase board wouldn't work. The players see right through that. Then he tries to turn scorers into shot blockers. Gaborik must be laughing all the way to the bank.
