Stupid to publicly offend a foreign gov't when you can't show proof of your accusations.
Polonium can only be produced in a nuclear reactor. The Polonium in Litvinenko system had the radioactive signature of a Russian reactor. No one can just walk out of a Russian Nuclear facility carrying radioactive Polonium.
Therefore, the Polonium was removed from the facility with permission. And permission from very high up. There are hundreds of other ways to kills someone, other than a difficult to obtain, transport and administer heavy metal poison.
The only thing the judge is missing is a phone conversation of Putin giving the order. Not the first time Putin has been caught red handed killing people in order to send a message. The message being 'no one is safe anywhere on Earth if they try to release videos of me abusing children',
