Ok, back to sleep now. Tho if the prediction really is for a 1 degree rise in this century, then this target seems about right.

No. If it's just 1 degree per century the correct response is relax. Enjoy what warmth might come your way out of that and gobble up the extra food that will be available.

Nothing too bad is going to happen.

I never thought I'd say this, but we could use some rain in Vancouver.

And back here we could use some sun.

Yeah, the jet stream is locked for some reason. Whatever weather you've got, you're stuck with for months. Mrs. Zip quite likes it. I'm not as huge a fan of the sun--which is one of the reasons I like Vancouver. Plus, I've run out of yardwork to do. Was round the old man's yesterday wiht a rake and a blower looking for something!

Canada can start by ceasing the export of coal and oil to China.

It's not much of a market, actually. The vast majority goes of our coal export to the US, adn the vast majority is metallurgical coal (for steel, etc) as opposed to thermal coal (for electrical generation).

Yes but they still are claiming we are in a stage 2 drought, yet all data being given indicates we are barely in a stage 1 drought.

Then ban the export of all coal, oil, and natural gas.

I'm sure it will do wonders for the CDN$.
