I did not know you couldn't fly a drone in the national parks. Good to know.
However I don't think I'd be flying mine into an active forest fire with pretty clear air craft flying around. Even at my uncles farm while I was taking footage of it, a crop dusting plane flew in the vicinity and I dropped it down to below the barn roof until the plane was gone. How are people so fucking stupid.

A friend of mine is the Fire Chief in Jasper, and flies a helicopter for Parks Canada. He's heavily involved in fighting this fire.
People just seem to have no concept that the world exists with other people in it.
