And if we get rid of all taxes, all crime will likewise disappear! Just look at the USA, some of the lowest taxes in the industrialized world and almost no crime, right?

So paying your ticket would be illegal under your scheme. Quite the conundrum. Of course issuing a ticket would be illegal, so the cop would have to issue himself a ticket, then another one for that ticket - poor guy never gets off shift, till he runs out of tickets, wich is in itself illegal..............

No Bart. the taxes on gas are the ONLY part of gasoline sales that benefits everyone. Death and Taxes... you have to get used to the fact democracy merely means you get to vote for the Caesar you render unto.

Besides, they STEAL the gas so it doesn't matter what the end price is to the black market, it's still 100% profit.

Simple system. Anarchy or everybody pays nobody wins but, on the plus side it'd end the stupid arguments about how making things legal or illegal would stop crime.
