We used to call this phenomenon "winter"
Now we call it undeniable proof that the world is too hot.
So, which part of the article disagrees with your data?
This bit here:
$1:
Increasing carbon dioxide in the atmosphere cools the polar stratosphere, which could increase the temperature difference between the pole and the equator and strengthen the polar vortex. There's also some model evidence that the waves that are propagating upwards in the troposphere are getting more energetic as the planet warms, leading to a more perturbed polar stratosphere.
doesn't so much "disagree with data" as point out they don't actually have any.
Notice the word "could" and how they all of a sudden are using a "model." A model is supposed to express what the data says not create the data.
Also, explain this one too me:
"carbon dioxide in the atmosphere cools the polar stratosphere"Where does that come from? What data shows that? Sounds hypothetical.
