If I had known that the CRA was not going to go after people who received Covid wage supplements, I might have applied for some of that sweet sweet handout cash too.

The wife's estate had to pay $2000 back. Shw went on medical EI and the backlog was so bad they told her to apply for the Covid benefit while she waited. As soon as she got the EI and backpay, she no longer qualified.
Somewhat annoying others will get away with it.
