PC gone wild.

At least the library made the right choices.

I guess 'daddy' has never listened to the lyrics of the lullabies he sings to his kids.

I bet every library gets these kids of cooks. FD and Martin are probably down there all the time demanding the Qur'an be banned. Then it's off to the local halal butcher to demand he sell pork, while ignoring the Jewish deli across the street.

Yeah well, you're too deep for me Andy, I must admit. It's way over my head. Why would "kids of cooks" be attracted to libraries? For more than just the cookbooks, I would hope.

OK, just kidding. I know you're not that deep, so you must mean "kinds of kooks", right?

Here's another thing your wrong about though...and come to think about it there's a subject for a pretty thick book...but no, what I mean is you're wrong that I would want the Qur'an banned from libraries.

I think everybody should read wade through that nonsense to see how dark and nuts it really is. Hell don't take my word for it. By all means read it. Once you realize they're serious, you won't know whether to laugh out loud, shit yourself in terror, or both.

We have the same nonsense going on down here particularly in the southern part of The States. Fortunately for us they did the same thing as your libraries and left the books exactingly where they belong.

I find it ridiculous that one patron of the library complaining about a book's content can prompt the library to even have to consider having it pulled.

This person also wanted an apology and payment for damages? Holy crap... over a Dr. Seuss book?

Talk about messed up priorities.

They likely have a policy where they have to consider every complaint. Want to be responsive to community concerns. The library acted totally appropriately here, IMO.

Wow, if this bimbo was upset about the "violence" in Hop on Pop, she better stay well away from the library's history section.
