Given the Ill feeling I'm not surprised, The Pakistani will use any excuse to stick it to the Americans. That doesn't stop them from wanting to accept massive amounts of financial aid (shake down money) from us.

Doesn't surprise me, seeing as Pakistan isn't really a friend or ally of the West. When the terorists - screw the terms islamists and militants - go up against the chinese they'll find that the Middle Kingdom doesn't understand the concept of restraint. Towns, villages and cities will burn, and every man, woman and child will be treated as an enemy combatant and fair game.

Pakistan and China have been allies for a very long time now, so nothing surprising here really.

Doesn't surprise me on bit, China and Pakistan have been buddies for decades. I'm surprised the US didn't destroy the wreckage to prevent something like this from happening.

The US should stop supporting Pakistan entirely and let the chips fall where they may.

Yes, I'm amazed that the US Military didn't come in and remove every bit of metal of that helicopter.

I agree with stopping support for Pakistan, we don't have the money to waste on them anyway.

I don't think the SEAL team performing the raid had the time to stop and do a proper destruction. Not to mention the amount of explosives or the fire needed to ensure proper destruction would have announced to everyone within a 20 Km radius that something was up.

Since the US bribed the Pak military to be able to carry out this mission, and the Pak military was telling the neighbors to stay indoors that night, I don't think announcing anything was a worry. Since they also did set explosives on the chopper, plus all the shooting, I think they certainly announced their presence. Probably pretty hard to completely eliminate a chopper tho, and this wasn't exactly part of the plan.
