It's too bad that measures like these are even necessary to consider.

I pray for a safe Remembrance Day for all.

Shame that bulletproof vests are illegal in BC, Alberta and Manitoba. Without a permit they never issue.

Given what has been going on that is wise, in fact not to do it would be bloody stupid.

Except for people who know you......why would you need one?

Not sure why they need to release a statement like that. I can't remember seeing any police officer in uniform who didn't have a vest on and carrying side arms.....at any level of policing. Sounds like more of a reminder to the nutters.

To help reduce injury and death from bullet wounds. What else do you think you use a protective vest for?

Never seen the dress uniform of the police at a remembrance day event?

I think a bicycle helmet would have done you justice. Too late now though.

Ah insults, you wound me so.

Every time someone calls me names or abandons the topic to result to insults I light a candle on my alter of internet victories and pray to it.

That's what you might like to think happens, but in the end it just doesn't matter and all I really feel is a small sadness for the state of humanity and a slight fear that people like you get to vote.

Not at all. I just think your money would be better spent keeping your noodle protected from further trauma.
