If Ms. Stevenson would address the dispensing fees being lower than all the other countries she lists as have lower prices, pharmacies wouldn't need to depend on professional allowances to keep the doors open. Oddly Ms. Stevenson hasn't mentioned the 2,000+ Ontario manufacturing jobs she sent off the continent with the introduction of Bill 102. Nor does she mention the $200+ million per month she could have saved Ontario tax payers by her purposely delaying the the inclusion of Amlodipine to the Ontario formulary a few months ago. Amlodipine ( Norvasc® ) is the largest drug in Canadian history to go generic...........so why didn't she have it included to the formulary at first opportunity, instead of months later? Maybe she took a page from the e-Health manual.

It is hard to feel sorry for the drug companies , their profits are not bad at all .
And we are for the majority talking about large drug store chains , which are many times owned through holding companies by the drug companies. If it were mom and pop I would feel differently . (( every one forgot about the little guy))Allan Jackson
