180 videos? Looks like they're trying to over saturate his image to the public. That kind of stuff usually backfires.
It's, at the very least, not all them -- the first commercial managed to make it onto a few talks shows, because it was so popular. I know at least one queried openly about getting him on their show. He's gotten surprisingly popular -- people like the Old Spice Commercials, because they stand out in the ho-hum of the typical wasted time between your 15-minutes-of-every-half-hour quality programming.

I'm not surprised at all that the new one might be gaining a bit of fanfare just because of that. People seem to like saturation -- there's that same type of awkward humour you see everywhere, the same type of responses to the same kind of videos, and the same kind of blogs/sites/forums/IRC chats/flash games which appear time and time again, and people thrive on it. If you beat it out enough, eventually it will stick in people's minds.
