I don't think a single person here has condemned Trump for deporting non-citizens who commit crimes. Why should we speak out about this guy?

Sucks for him though. Guess he should have taken care of that citizenship thing before becoming a crook.

' criminal offences '

Pretty much stopped reading right there.

But it's too funny not to.

He's had 9 years knowing this was coming.
Not getting citizenship only shows his entire family is retarded.

$1:
In court documents, Van Heest has said that he would not be capable of obtaining health care, housing, income or a social network in the Netherlands.

Just wrong.
To be fair, the Dutch authorities will take a while to sort this out, they won't beleive him first time round.

And you can get by just fine using English in the Netherlands, so that fat cow May can just shut the fuck up.
Nice to see how she fights so hard to keep criminals in Canada.

Yep, deport a 59 year old with a history of mental disabilities and who has been in Canada since he was 8 months old. Didn't Trudeau talk openly abut big support for mental health issues?

Shame on Canada and PM Trudeau! Shame Shame!

So, you are in favour of letting immigrants commit crimes and face no repercussions?

while this is a tragic case, the fault cannot lie squarely on the government on this one. They can't force people to become citizens. He knew his status, one of a PR but non citizen. He was fine with it for 99% of his life, yet now he is a crook, he has an issue.

I don't have much sympathy for him.

Illegal immigrants who engage in criminal activity open themselves up to deportation. This is a very specific and unique situation, this isn't a 25 year old who has been illegally in Canada for six months. Furthermore, it underscores the hypocrisy of Canada and protesters. There was an uproar over some people being told to get a Visa in order to enter America and there is an uproar, how is that worse than this situation? The two not allowed to enter America don't live there, and never have.

This guy has been here 59 years, since he was an eight month old baby. Would Canada be willing to accept someone from another country under the same circumstances? If so, you had better open up the border because we will be getting many "Canadians" I am sure.

If he is a criminal, he became one in the Canadian system. It should be our problem at this point. In theory obviously an illegal immigrant committing a crime shouldn't be protected, for the duration of time he has lived here, this is absurd, which is most certainly the reason CBC reported on it.

I assume you will have a similar attitude when Canadians aren't allowed to enter America due to b.s intel provided by Canada or any other reason America decides, or, when Trump is deporting illegal immigrants from his country.

Don't do the old Canadian Way of "do as I say, not as I do" as we are apt to do across many broad situations.

You're kidding, right ?

Not only do we take them, we send planes to go get them.

Try a google of something like 60,000 Canadians in Lebanon.

Look, it's a white guy. No one is going to protest his departure.

That is the current situation now with the US. If you have a criminal record, you can be denied entry, that goes both ways. Nothing wrong with that.

You show me 1,000 people in the street protesting for him to come back,

I'll take it back..

Until then, you know I'm right. Simply. Right.

Meh!!! There are way worst places to be deported to.

If he wants, he can reapply to come back... good luck with that.
