I'm just glad for all the "little" people that work in the arenas... as for the players and owners, they can go **** themselves.

I guess someone in the professional hockey community woke up, discovered that at this point the fans couldn't care less if they played another game, or not, which made their petty arguments about who had the biggest dick completely irrelevant. I seriously wonder if they'll ever grow their fan base back to what it was before, greed, avarice and pride took away another full season of hockey. Oh well, I guess they've got 10 years to try to get back to the point they were at before this debacle and it'll likely take every one of those years to lure the fans back which, should be just about enough time for them to forget this lockout ever happened and repeat the whole process over again.

The question is: If a puck drops on the ice of an arena, does anyone care enough to hear it? As much as I enjoy watching HNIC on Saturday nights and whatnot, why should I now? This lockout was nothing more than a hissy fit between millionaires/billionaires, all while the little guy that needs the hockey revenue to stay afloat was sunk. and the fan that spends a lot to enjoy the hockey was crushed. The hell with that. I'll stick with my football. -J.

Yep, that about sums it up - except that it won't take 10 years - probably closer to 10 minutes. The lemmings are already lining up on Twitter and Facebook to rush back to the arena...

I'm with cdn_patriot. I'll stick with football. For me it's infinitely more affordable to go to the Whitecaps for a whole season than one Canucks game.
If they make it to the playoffs fine. But like I've said before, hockey is all but dead to me after this latest spat.

Hey, there's lots of good hockey out there.. And some of the best players in the world are going to be hard at it again. These are the guys who show the rest of us the best and newest moves. They aren't worth the money they are making, the owners sure as hell aren't worth their money, and bettman should be getting 9 bucks an hour in Mcdees.
I'm glad they play the game, but I'm happy watching senior hockey, college hockey, junior hockey and pre-novice. etc. I don't have to put out a hundred bucks to enjoy myself.
