I guess thats a bonus to me as I don't use facebook and inface hate it. I can see the use for it if you are that sort of person who actually cares what there friends and randomy dudes you just met over the net are doing every single second. However I just don't understand how people can just sit on it for hours upon hours just looking at peoples "updates" which are always stupid as hell.
As much as I love technology, I miss when everybody just wanted to go out and do some crazy shit. Finding people like that is becoming harder and harder IMO. Everybody as of couple years ago are getting too addicted to social network sites and spent too much time on it.

$1:
Mehdizadeh admits the sample group of just 100 participants from such a specific demographic doesn't necessarily reflect everybody who uses Facebook.
100 participants, 500 million users, and you dare to call it a study???

I use FB for 2 reasons, 1: to keep up with friends whoi live out of Calgary (as an ex base brat I know folks all over the world) 2: It supplements my email communications with friends and family closer to home, if I'm planning and event or someone I know is we set it up on FB. That's it.
