Huh, I knew a guy with a dog that was 24 in Alta. She died last year. Don't think the guy knew about the concept of a record, or really cared.

A dog year is not equal to 7 human years. This is a misconception. Smaller dogs age at different rates than larger dogs as well, and tend to live a lot longer.
